Detached garage fire in Prospect Heights, 5-3-15

This is from Larry Shapiro:

The Prospect Heights Fire Department received multiple calls about a detached garage fire at 240 E. Camp McDonald Road on Sunday night, May 3rd, 2015. Flames were visible from Station 9, just a block away. The three-car, one-and-a-half-story garage was fully involved, and it was reported that there was a 55-gallon drum of racing fuel and acetylene torches inside.

Engine 9 deployed two lines, while Tanker 9 began supplying water to the engine. Engine 39 laid a supply line to a hydrant about a third of a mile away, and Long Grove Tanker 55 arrived to continue supporting Engine 9. Most of the fire was quickly brought under control, and the other tankers were released from the staging area.

When I arrived, the roof had already collapsed, and there was still some visible fire burning inside.
