Filkante introduces new sensors

FILCONTROLS.A., a French company, has launched a piezoelectric dynamic tension sensor called MPA, specifically designed for use in high-speed automatic winder systems. The MPA is a state-of-the-art dynamic tension sensor that continuously measures and tracks changes in yarn tension during the winding process. This real-time monitoring ensures consistent quality and performance in textile production. The MPA is integrated with the winder’s motor speed control system and an electronic-mechanical tension adjustment mechanism, forming a complete automatic tension equalization system. This innovative technology offers improved accuracy and responsiveness compared to traditional methods. At its core, the MPA uses a piezoelectric ceramic component housed within a cavity, along with advanced circuitry. When mechanical stress is applied to the ceramic—due to the movement of the yarn on the guide—it generates electric charges. These charges are converted into electrical signals that correspond to the frequency of the yarn’s reciprocating motion. These signals are then amplified and filtered by the built-in circuitry before being sent as a standard output signal to the central control system of the winder. This allows the system to detect and adjust tension dynamically. For example, if the tension is too low, the control circuit increases the spindle speed to raise the tension; conversely, if the tension is too high, it reduces the speed to lower it. This ensures optimal winding performance at all times. Thanks to multi-stage amplification technology, the MPA can detect tension levels up to 100 grams, offering flexibility for different yarn types and production requirements. Each sensor undergoes rigorous calibration before leaving the factory, ensuring a measurement error margin of no more than 16%. It operates efficiently within a voltage range of 4.5–5.5 VDC, making it easy to integrate into existing systems. The MPA is capable of measuring dynamic tension across a frequency range of 3–45 Hz, matching the typical motion cycle of the yarn on the guide. With a maximum measurable range of 0–100 grams, it provides precise feedback for maintaining consistent tension throughout the winding process. Since its introduction, this piezoelectric dynamic tension sensor has gained significant attention from textile machinery manufacturers both domestically and internationally. Industry experts believe that the MPA not only enhances operational efficiency but also contributes to improving the overall load capacity and quality of the final product.

BeautyFilâ„¢Superball Hairbrush

Tai Hing develops the BeautyFilâ„¢Superball hairbrush to release the hair problems, and the hairbrush has better functions of massaging and protecting the hair scalp. Importantly, the ball tip filament of BeautyFilâ„¢Superball hairbrush has specific patent number of ZL 2020 3 0278877.3

Nylon material has high adhesiveness and friction resistance after the authentic ball tip technique, and the nylon material ball tip is durable and firm. Filament smoothness and dryness can be customized based on customers` request.

The end of the filament is melted to form the round and full ball tip after the innovative technology. Compared to the common ball tip, BeautyFilâ„¢Superball ball tip can be customized to the biggest size one at the end of the filament.

BeautyFilâ„¢Superball filament has better elasticity to protect the scalp when the ball tips compress the scalp surface. The customized filament smoothness can reduce the reverse scratch of hair scale and the hair loss effectively. Therefore, the BeautyFilâ„¢Superball hairbrush is very suitable for people with the naturally curly hair.
