1. Introduction to Wet Type Magnetic Separator:
Our wet type magnetic separator is designed for efficient magnetic separation of fine materials with a particle size below 3mm, such as magnetite, pyrrhotite, bauxite, and washingtonite. It is also suitable for deironing applications in non-metallic ores, coal, and building materials.
The average magnetic induction on the drum surface ranges from 100 to 600mT. Depending on customer requirements, we can provide forward flow, semi-counter current, and counter current magnetic separation systems. The machine is known for its simple structure, high efficiency, ease of operation, and low maintenance needs.
We offer various types of troughs including semi-counter current, counter current, and fair current designs.
2. Working Principle of the Wet Type Magnetic Separator:
The pulp enters the cell body through the pulp box, and under the water flow from the feeding spray pipe, the mineral particles enter the feeding area of the cell body in a loose condition. In the magnetic field, magnetic ore particles are attracted and form magnetic groups or chains influenced by the magnetic force within the pulp. These particles move toward the magnetic poles and are finally absorbed onto the cylinder.
