Tan Xuguang pointed out that the current Chinese economy has entered a new normal of slowing growth, striving for stability, and "three-phase superposition". The problems of overcapacity and insufficient endogenous power are highlighted, which has impacted all walks of life. In the next three to five years, the era of China's rapid economic growth will never return, and the focus of economic development will gradually shift to adjust the structure, change the way, improve quality and efficiency. Tan Xuguang emphasized that in recent years, we have become accustomed to the rapid development of the development situation, and are accustomed to continuously expanding production capacity and scale. Tan Xuguang emphasized that whether it is based on the current or long-term perspective, establishing competitive products is always the foundation for winning the market. Without a product, there is no foundation. As an entity, we must be determined to make products. Last year, Weichai proposed to build the products with the most cost competitiveness, the most core technical competitiveness and the most quality competitiveness, use the superior products to enhance the core competitiveness of the enterprise, and win the trust of customers with differentiated products. At the same time, to do a good job in internal combustion engine products, we must assume the social responsibility of energy saving and emission reduction. Tan Xuguang pointed out that the General Office of the State Council and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have successively issued documents to put forward new requirements for the switching of national III and national IV standards and energy conservation and emission reduction. This is both an opportunity and a challenge for our internal combustion engine industry. It forces us to make great efforts in the development of circular economy such as technological route selection, energy-saving and emission reduction new technology research and development, remanufacturing, new energy technology promotion, new materials and new process applications, in order to further improve the energy saving of internal combustion engine products. Tan Xuguang pointed out that looking at internationally renowned companies, development depends not only on localized operations but on the benefits of the global market. We must firmly grasp the opportunities that the current state encourages to go out and develop, accurately locate the target market, and deeply analyze customer needs; we must increase independent innovation and research and development efforts to create products that meet global standards; integrate internal and external advantages and establish global sales. Tan Xuguang emphasized that in the current era, Internet genes have been integrated into various fields of society and are profoundly changing the traditional retail, financial and logistics industries and becoming a new driving force for economic development. Unlike direct consumer goods such as retail, the connection with the Internet economy is indirect, but in the long run, we will never be bystanders. Do research and respond well. We must deeply understand the connotation of Internet thinking, especially based on the inherent characteristics of traditional manufacturing enterprises, explore the application of Internet thinking, and seek lean management and products in manufacturing fields in the fields of extreme thinking, big data thinking, and cross-border thinking. Tan Xuguang finally pointed out that the current state has comprehensively deepened the reform of the system and mechanism, actively promoted the transformation of government functions, and put forward new requirements for transformation and reform of the Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association.
