Recently, Shenyang Yuanda Science & Technology Industrial Co., Ltd. has successfully developed an advanced, energy-efficient large-scale alcohol drying system, which recently passed expert evaluation in the Shenyang Huishan Agricultural High-tech Zone. This innovative equipment is not only suitable for drying corn distiller's grains but also versatile enough to handle a wide range of materials, including ginkgo leaves, barnyard grass, and traditional Chinese medicinal herbs. The complete alcohol waste drying system utilizes coal as its primary heat source and incorporates a three-drum drying technology combined with a new high-temperature rapid drying process. This allows up to 70% of the moisture-laden distiller’s grains to be dried efficiently, reducing the moisture content to below 12% within just 1 to 1.5 minutes. The system supports continuous production and comprehensive automation control, significantly improving operational efficiency and product quality. According to reports, two sets of drying systems developed by Yuanda Co., Ltd.—one for corn-based distiller’s grains and another for cassava-based—have been deployed at Longkou Zhenlong Alcohol Co., Ltd. and Longkou Zhenlong Organic Fertilizer Plant in Shandong Province. These systems have demonstrated impressive performance, with dry distiller’s grains reaching output levels of 80 to 100 tons per day. Each ton of dried material requires approximately 250 kg of coal, resulting in a drying cost of around 150 to 180 yuan per ton of dry product. The dried corn-based alcohol grains produced using this system consistently meet national quality standards, ensuring high market value and customer satisfaction.
