I was on the scene of the Harvey fire on Saturday, October 24th. I arrived pretty late, and there was still a lot of active fire in the second building. By the time I got there, the original structure had already collapsed completely.

I took these photos to give a sense of what the scene looked like when I arrived. The fire was still very intense, and it was clear that crews were working hard to contain it. These images show the scale of the incident and the efforts of the firefighters on the ground. It’s always a sobering experience to witness such events firsthand.
