2. Working Principle of Simple Structure Magnetite Magnetic Separator

When raw materials enter the tank body of the magnetic separator, the flow direction of the material aligns with the rotation direction of the magnetic drum. Iron-containing magnetite is attracted to the surface of the drum, marking the first separation. In the second step, flushing water from below helps to flush the materials back, resulting in the second separation. At this point, the material flows opposite to the drum's rotation. As the drum rotates, the magnetite on its surface eventually leaves the magnetic field and falls into the concentrate box under gravity. The upper flushing water assists in directing the magnetite into the concentrate box. Weakly magnetic or non-magnetic materials are not attracted and exit as tailings.
