On the morning of April 14, a major construction site was underway at Anhui Xingma Automobile Company, where an enterprise with an annual output of 300 concrete pump technology projects is being developed. A towering steel plant spanning 42 meters has already been completed, and workers are now focused on lifting the production line equipment. It is expected that by the end of August this year, the most advanced concrete pump production line in China will be fully operational.
This project, part of Anhui Province's "861" construction initiative, is the expansion of the Star Horse special vehicle project with an annual output of 300 concrete pump trucks. Officially launched in September 2005, it plans to invest 150 million yuan to build a joint plant and production line, alongside a technology research and development service center. The entire project spans over 40,000 square meters. Once operational, it is expected to boost the company’s annual sales revenue by 600 million yuan and increase profits and taxes by 70 million yuan annually. This will further strengthen the brand advantage of “Xing Ma,†the leading domestic special vehicle brand, and support the company’s market strategy for Star Horse automobiles, helping them grow stronger and more competitive.
As a key project related to the city’s industrial restructuring and technological transformation, the municipal government has given high priority to the project. Despite some challenges during the construction phase, the Municipal Economic Commission, Development and Reform Commission, and Science and Technology Bureau have provided coordinated support to ensure the project is completed on schedule. For instance, the Municipal Economic Commission, along with the city’s key office and science and technology departments, regularly visits the company to monitor progress and offer assistance to accelerate the project.
The company has treated the project as a model for large-scale market development in the city, assembling a top team to ensure quality while maintaining an accelerated timeline. According to the project manager, over 60 employees have worked through holidays such as New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival to meet deadlines. They work tirelessly, making the most of good weather and pushing forward even in rainy conditions. As a result, the project has been completed to high standards and received positive feedback from all parties involved.
