Below are some photos taken by Eric showing Chicago Fire Department companies working to clean up after a fire at a vacant building in the 16th Battalion area on Thursday afternoon. The structure measured 250 by 150 feet and had been empty for some time. It appeared that intense fire conditions were present in the loading dock area, which led to the collapse of part of the roof. However, the firefighters managed to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further into the building.
