Here's a message from Eric Haak:
At 4:45 on Saturday, July 30th, the Main Fire Alarm Office dispatched the 18th Battalion to a working fire at the 1500 block of South Kostner. Engine 38 arrived first and quickly boxed the fire, reporting an exposure issue and a burn victim. I arrived just as the attic was mostly clear, so most of the photos show rig placement rather than active flames. The first few images capture Engine 95 stretching a line to the second floor in the rear. In the third photo, you can see fire blowing out of a couple of windows at the front of side B, though one window is partially hidden by bushes. The Still & Box was knocked down within about 20 minutes.

The photos give a good sense of the scene, showing the crews in action and the equipment used. It's always interesting to see how quickly the department responds and how well they manage these types of incidents. A few of the trucks are older models, like the Seagrave, which is still in service. It's a reminder of how long some of these units have been around. The overall effort looked solid, and it’s great to see the community support through these events.
